This is some of the best footage I’ve ever seen of a bunny being a bunny. See what all those people miss by keeping bunnies outside in hutches?! You first met Billy the Bunny in yesterday’s video post. Now he’s up to some seriously wonderfully choreographed dancing. I’m pretty sure he’ll get a scholarship for this work.
When bunnies run around like they’re inSANE, it’s called the Bunny 500. Watch this cute Netherland Dwarf tear up his apartment. You can almost see the flames behind him! This is one incredibly happy bunny. Make particular note of the binkies on the bed. Great sound editing, too!
A bunny video a day. That’s the goal for the rest of 2008, which has been a good year, as years go, but we’re looking at Hannukah and Christmas and New Year’s and (insert your end of the year holiday here), so let’s wrap this turkey up with a big, shiny bow.
I’m starting today. I’m ending when the ball drops. If you have suggestions for your favorite bunny video (on YouTube or elsewhere), email me!
This video matches up two of my top 10 favorite things — bunnies and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Enjoy this little excerpt (audibly speaking) from BTVS’ Once More with Feeling:
Why Anya had a debilitating fear of bunnies is beyond me… But everything about them creeped her out. It was one of her more confusing qualities, and she had many.
This 8 minutes of video is somehow captivating. I think it’s because of the music loop. But also, these bunnies are just too damn cute. It’s like a family of SweetPeas! I just hope they don’t all have her Lil’ Miss Thang attitude!
And be sure to check out RabbitHouses.net, as they’re the wonderful structures seen in the video. Does anyone have one? Comment and let me know how you like it.
They have a wicked good bunny blog roll (ahem, thanks for mentioning the Blab!) and have recently posted what I used to call “bunny lipstick” (Amber had a strawberry or two in his day):
All right, all right. I’m on a kick. What can I say? Paul’s out of town tonight!
Poor Peanut looks all frazzled — he looks like he’s either molting or else he had a very close call with something that dive-bombed him. Glad to see he’s still interested in treats, though!
