Writing bios is always tricky.
Have had house rabbits since I was 20 (I spent my senior year at Penn State illegally shacked up with Amber in my dorm room) because I couldn’t wait any longer to be a mom. Am now 32 years old. Can’t think I’ll ever be without at least a couple of pets. Wish I could save them all, but that desire is curbed by the need to be the best mama I can to the fuzzies I have and not spread myself too thin with them. Have loved Amber (boy), Ariel (girl), Kayla (g), Juniper Hops (b), SweetPea (g) (all bunnies), Bandit the kitty, and Jacoby the greyhound. Serve on the Board of Directors for the House Rabbit Connection and as their Webmaster.
Currently live in Framingham, MA with wonderful, brilliant Paul the husband, SweetPea, Bandit, and Jacoby. Work as a podcast producer (PodcastNOW! if you think podcasting can help your business, but don’t want to learn the ins and outs of recording, editing, and posting an audio file) and crafter (Frames By Dana lets me use the creative side of my brain!).
Produce my dad’s weekly podcast series on the Bible passages in church services.
Have built several websites along the way. Discover my inner geek more every year. Love gadgets and the latest phone, currently a Moto Droid.
Blog here at BunnyBlab, but also at PaulAndDana and Twitter. (Covertly Tweet for Jacoby.)
Just wrote a book on geocaching with Paul. Love to travel the country and the world with Paul and discover new places.
Run the 440-member Framingham Movie Meetup, as well as theĀ fledgling Greyt Fun meetup for greyhounds and their people.
Love to garden, hike, geocache, do anything outside, cook, bake, craft, pretend I’m the next Martha Stewart, shop, read, take long baths, watch movies, watch TV, attend sporting events, cuddle with Paul, do anything with Paul, take long walks with Jacoby.
Love the snow, but only for the first couple of months of winter. Love summer and Christmastime the most.
Was a dancer and competitive swimmer in my childhood and teenage years.
Root for Penn State Nittany Lions Football, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox.
Am a night owl (it’s 2:47 a.m. as I write this).
Secretly wish Harry Potter wasn’t fiction. Believe in real magic in the world, true love, and the goodness of people.
